Finally it's all done and dusted!!!

Finally finished and placed in the position on the radiator shelf it was made for. Well, for now!!!

I wonder how long I'll like it for and when it'll be relegated to 'the box' of tatting!!!! I find it pleasing at the moment but I know me and I know that won't last!!!

The edging turned out in the end to be similar to the last round of the Fandango coaster but with SR's instead of the chains and it worked well. Here's a close up of it first.

Looks fantastic Jane, but there is one thing that I find hard to believe and that is apart from the lovely runner there is nothing else on this shelf. I am sure last time I stayed with you there was a load of stuff on the shelf!!!

Well spotted, Sally and I'm sure it won't last!!!! The 'stuff' is now on the cupboard next to the radiator shelf at the moment but I'm sure it'll soon migrate!!!! This house is SOOO full of 'stuff' it's hard to move around as you know!!!

That is spectacular! How could you ever get tired of such a thing?

When I saw the word dusted without reading the whole title, my first thought was, "Has Jane been doing housework?" Then I thought, "Nah, couldn't be!" and read the rest of it. Although you clearly did dust and vacuum the hall to take the photos, which is probably more than I would have done.

Fandangotastic! The edging is perfection and the colors are so cheerful -- makes me wish I had a radiator!

Very nice! I wish we had radiator heat... I think!

Perfect edging! And a delightful, cheerful runner to greet all who enter! I love that you have 'stuff', too! I can't let a flat surface sit empty, and I usually have tatting everywhere, too!

That looks lovely! Reminds me of the panels of fancy tiles that you sometimes see in the old houses in Singapore.

Jane,
Like Miranda I thought you were telling me about your housework and I thought "who has time for that". Love your rad mat.
Best,

Ok Miss.... when it's 'relegated' to a box and finds its way through the post to my house... it'll fit on my mantlepiece very well!!! VBG
